The Awards according to Peter Sasellu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sierra Leone Council of Chief Executive Officers, look at institutions reputation, track record over the year – not just where they are today, but where they have come from, challenges and how they have overcome these challenges to be where they are today and above all, potential to be where they want to be tomorrow, impact in society.

The posh ceremony, which attracted the crème de la crème of society took place at the immaculate Golden Tulip Hotel formerly Kimbima Hotel at Aberdeen in Freetown.

Prominent personalities included the Chief Minister Prof. David Francis, Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Alie Kabba, Deputy Internal Affairs Minister Lawrence Leema Lahai and several other distinguished ladies and gentlemen.

Other awards include E-Help Africa, EcoBank, Rokel Commercial Bank, the Executive Director of Legal Aid Board, Fatmata Claire Hanciles, the ACC, NAYCOM, NMJD, CGG, FCC, the Chief Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister and Deputy Internal Affairs Minister, SOS Children’s Village, NRA, FOCUS 1000 among several others.
