In her remarks, the Director of the Institute Haja Isata Jabbie Turay reiterates that education is a crucial sector in any nation being a major investment in human capital development. She emphasized that education plays a critical role in long-term productivity and growth of any nation.

Haja Turay said the Institute is preparing the youth to cope with the present situation needs to develop analytical and critical thinking, skill and attitude that would make them more flexible and innovative to deal with uncertainty and crises at national and global level. She stressed that we are now living in an inquiring and innovation-oriented society.

Haja Turay emphasized that the Institute main aim is to enable the learners to learn and acquire knowledge, develop conceptual and intellectual skills, attitudes, values and aptitudes conductive to the all round development of their personality and proportionate with the societal, economic and environmental realities at national and international. She called on parents to support their children to seek for quality education and stressed that the Kankalay Institute of Professional and Administrative Studies remains committed to contribute to education for national development.

In his remarks, the Principal of the Institute Mr. Mohamed Sillah said that the Institution currently offers Certificates, National Diploma, Higher National Diploma and other ICM UK affiliated programmes accredited by the National Council for Technical Vocational and Other Academic Awards (NCTVA). He said that the institute has well qualified staff to meet the challenges of higher learning.

In his remarks, the Director of Technical Ishmail Turay noted that this is their fifteen years of operation as a recognized institution that have produced graduates that are now impacting positively in the society. He stressed that it is their solemn resolve to train and produce men and women equipped with good education, strong character, integrity and the fear of God.

In his remarks the  Educational Secretary, Alhaji Rashid Saccoh gave a brief background of the Institute which was founded as an Islamic Institution that is committed to high moral and academic standards and therefore emphasizes on discipline and spiritual development. He urged students to work hard and take their studies seriously as the institute is grooming them to contribute to national development.
