Speaking to AYV, the Director of Media and External Relations of the National Electoral Commission, Albert Massaquoi said that the Commission last week held a stakeholders’ engagement meeting on the preparedness of the commission towards the forth-coming elections. He confirmed to AYV that the elections are going to be held in February 2018.

He updated the public on the boundary delimitation process and that the first engagement was successful, even though concerns were raised by the stakeholders in different parts of the country. He said the commission is strategizing to combat those challenges.

Massaquoi informed members of the public about the addition of 20 Constituencies to the Parliamentary seats come 2018 Elections.
