The running was in Blama on invitation from the leaders and people who pledged their support to the APC and assured the party of winning the parliamentary seat in that constituency.

Speaker after speaker spoke about the development and transformation across the country the past ten years under the APC led government and expressed hope that more will be done under another APC government.

The APC running mate, Chernor Maju Bah seized the opportunity to hammer home the message of continuity. He told the people of Blama that the APC is the only political party that has record of developing and transforming our country and that with him and Dr Samura Kamara, they will the ground running as soon as they are sworn in to ensure every corner of the country benefits from the APC development and transformation. He promised them another visit with the flag bearer of the party, Dr Samura Kamara.

Speakers from local dignitaries included the wife of the paramount chief of Blama, Madam Joan Benya, delivered a remarkable welcome address on behalf of her husband and Dr Labawai Koroma, the APC Parliamentary in that constituency.

The APC message of continuity is rapidly gaining momentum in the Southern and Eastern Regions and I predict a strong show from the APC party in the March elections from these two regions.
