Vice-President of Sierra Leone warmly welcomed the Ethiopian delegation which included Ministers as well as senior government officials.

The visit was to boost and enhance the bilateral and diplomatic ties between the two countries in a myriad of sectors including mining, education, health, tourism, aviation and real-state, according to the statement.

The Deputy Prime Minister exchanged views with President Julius Maada Bio on ways of consolidating the relationship in all domains of cooperation in the spirit of mutual benefit. The memorandum of understanding MoU signed between the Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonen and Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio was for cooperation in various sectors.
