Speaking to this reporter from Port Loko, one eye witness Memuna Kamara went on to say that, a taxi cab heading for Freetown crashed into a delivery truck heading for Kambia after one of the taxi’s back tire burst which resulted to the driver losing control of the vehicle and crashing into the truck.

All the six passengers in the taxi cab, including the apprentice of the truck lost their lives while the driver of the truck  suffered a broken foot.

Police that arrived at the scene from Port Loko suspected over-speeding, smooth tires and overloading to be the causes of the accident.
