SLMWBO calls for help

She said since the school was established building the structure, putting together the furniture, securing teaching and learning materials had been a serious challenge for them, adding that even the piece of land on which the school is located was not theirs.

She pointed out that paying salaries to teachers had been challenging, adding: “I am calling on the government through the ministry of education and other NGOs to rescue our chiefdom from these challenges,” the head teacher said. 

“I have to come to school very early to secure seat because if I don’t come earlier enough I won’t have a seat.  I have two notebooks but I don’t have reader books because my parents can’t afford them for me. We need help from the ministry of education,” said Adama Kamara, a class 4 pupil who said she wanted to become a lawyer in future.
