Presenting the agreement to Parliament, the Minister of Energy, Henry Macaulay, acknowledged the tremendous strides the government has made in the energy sector which also deals with the significance of the amendment Act to the development of electricity in the country.

Both Leaders of the House, acknowledged the importance of the Amendment Act, toward Electricity supply for the country.The Bill was finally passed into law with some amendments.
