He said he was a grand chief patron of the Revolutionary United Front, in addition to serving in senior capacities since the transformation of the party from a rebel movement to a registered political organization.

According to him, the social and economic development of Sierra Leone was his party’s top most priority and that he would leave no stone unturned to ensure that the people of this country reap the sweet fruits of their land and enjoy democratic buoyancy.

James Samuel Cole went on to state that he was also prepared to not only change the negative perceptions many Sierra Leoneans have about the Revolutionary United Front Party, but also take over the governance of Sierra Leone democratically in the forthcoming elections.

 The RUFP flagbearer aspirant who was also a veteran journalist maintained that he had contributed immensely towards promoting good governance and democracy in the country, and that he had manifold experiences in the operations of both the broadcast and print media.

He assured this medium that if his party assumed the political hegemony of Sierra Leone come 2018 parliamentary and presidential elections, he would bring about economic and social prosperity, and at the same time improves the country’s declining educational system.

Concluding, James Samuel Cole intimated that he was called upon by the vast majority of members of his Party to vie for the leadership and chairmanship of the party, due to his unique and exemplary leadership style.
